"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science." — Albert Einstein
A wonderful quote, even though I don't agree with it completely. Nevertheless, I love mysteries! My artistic endeavors are more like what Lars says in 101 Dalmatians 2:
Lars : Oh, fickle bird of inspiration! To what far shore have you flown? Cruella : Your muse has returned!
A muse is such a rare treasure to find, hehe. Joy or sorrow, they guide my hands alike. Life, as a never ending dance, is the source of all true art. Reflection on the wonders beyond our comprehension; nebulous brilliance, whence colorful glimmers shineth through into the depths of our watchful eyes. Maybe Einstein is right; it's a spectacle of the ever-present mystery life thrives on; the golden thread God so elegantly waves through the trivialities of our each and every day. Whenever we seek it, we find it, and whenever we express it, we call it art.
ARTS
I prefer traditional arts, while the greatest pieces of arts I've ever met was indeed digital. I love my mechanical pencil, and my greatest enemies are my malfunctioning rubbers. For digital arts I used PaintTool SAI previously, now I'm experiencing with Krita, using my Wacom Intuos M drawing pad.
MY JOURNEY
Abyss was my metaphorical dwelling - lonely and shady, yet the land of serenity. It manifested inside of me though the years as a dreamlike realm of my own persona, like a cradle of mine, which I've left though my journey. You may encounter dark and bit depressive imagery in my early drawings, but since then, I've found said golden thread and where it leads; I live, even passing in the shadow of death, in providence. Lately I've done my arts privately without sharing, so you may not find new arts by me at all - time will tell, when I return to sharing them.
